A need was felt since long by the researchers in Home Management/Family Resource Management regarding the availability of information about researches carried out in the field. The Home Management department, Faculty of Home Science, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, is one of the prime institutions where a number of researches have been conducted. The present book is a compendium of abstracts of researches conducted at Masters and Doctoral levels during the period of 1964 to 2006. It will prove to be a rich resource material for the researchers in colleges and universities. This would enable them to identify the thrust areas and the research gaps, and help them to plan out appropriate researches.
