Since AIDS is one of the major epidemic diseases of India. India is the third largest country in world, which has HIV epidemic. In 2013, HIV prevalence in India was estimated 0.3%. The number of HIV positive patients are increasing day-by-day. Ancient science plays an important role in this disease, proven by many researches. Ancient science saying - “Prevention is better than cure”. Alternative Therapies do not endorse any particular system or method but promotes the evaluation and appropriate use of all effective therapeutic approaches. The authors encourage the integration of evidence-based emerging therapies with conventional medical practices. Authors are following this principle by using alternative therapies in this book. They did the research regarding the effectiveness of selected combinations of alternative therapy is delaying the development of AIDS or delaying the progression of disease before AIDS develops.
