compiled mainly during 1971-72, while the author was on a Danish
International Development Agency (DANIDA) Scholarship in
Denmark--is one of the most extensive and comprehensive on the
species involves nearly 3000 references with abstracts for the
more important ones. The compilation meeting the recommendations
of the now defunct FAO-Teak Sub-commission since 1956; is thus a
humble effort to cover the world literature on the species
Tectona grandis."
