"Aspects of Indological Studies" is in fact an outcome of incessant research endeavours of the present researcher for last more than a decade. Being associated with the world famous Oriental Institute of Baroda, there was a scope for ample research on the valuable treasure of more than 27000 Mss. He could dive deep into that ocean and find out gems in the form of little-known works based upon rare manuscripts. This incidently was a reason for most of the research papers, written by him to be found in this collection, published in several esteemed research Journals. At several occasions, he was also invited to present research papers at different seminars. He also presented papers at different regional, national and international seminars and conferences. The present book incorporates many of such research papers of diverse subjects pertaining to different sastras like Vedanta, Classical literature, Purana, Dharmasastra and Technical literature. The papers, there-fore, are classified accordingly, under different heads for the interested scholars. The researcher humbly wishes to present his research outcome, before the world of scholars, through the form of this book." (jacket)
