"This CD contains data collected during the
Houselisting Operations held in April to June 2000 preceding the actual
population enumeration in February 2001. Information collected from each
household in the country were later tabulated on a 100% basis to generate 24
different tables on the following aspects:
- Number condition and type of use of census houses
- Predominant material of floor, wall and roof
- Number of dwelling rooms, size of households
- Source and location of drinking water
- Availability of bathroom, latrine, type of drainage and separate kitchen
- Fuel used for cooking (like, firewood, coal, LPG, etc.)
- Source of lighting (like, electricity, kerosene, etc.)
- Availing banking services
- Availability of assets (like radio/transistor, television, telephone,
bicycle, scooter, car, etc.)."
