"Flora of BHU Camps describes 574 higher plant species belonging to 111 angiospermic families. An effort has been made to provide detailed information of the plants of the campus with reference to their salient features and local uses. Coloured photographs of selected plants have been provided at the end of book. The index to botanical and vernacular names and the plants found in botanical and Ayurvedic gardens of the campus have been mentioned. The aim of the book is to provide a comprehensive and up-to-date account of the Flora of BHU Campus for the benefit of students, teachers and research scholars interested in the plants of the campus.
