"The ultimate purpose of the life is to have happiness. The place which gives great happiness by its fascination, enchantment, powerful attraction and charm, and bewitches one is, no doubt, said to be a paradise or heaven on earth. If it with its forest resources, attracts people from different parts of the world and gives them a feeling of enthusiasm and happiness may also be referred as green paradise. Andaman and Nicobar Islands are blessed with lot of natural resources like climate, scenic, forest and marine resources etc. The scenic and natural beauties of these green islands attract tourists from different places. The Bay of Bengal is the part of the eastern segment of the Indian Ocean. It looks like a beautiful blue surface, which can be enjoyed by visitors/tourists when they sail by ship.

The fascinations in the present book are divided into five types namely, informational, historical social and cultural, educational and natural fascinations. This book covers all aspects of the fascinations and attractions of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands in seven chapters. Chapter I is introductory that classifies the tourists from the economic point of view. i.e. economic and non-economic tourists. The informational, historical, socio-cultural, educational and natural fascinations are given in chapters II to VI and the chapter VII provides the conclusion.
