The volume presents the results of archaeological exploration undertaken in the Bharatpur district of Rajasthan to showcase the archaeological remains and historical finds in the district. Beginning with the place’s geomorphic features such as hills, river formation and drainage, and its history from early historic times, it gives details of the cultural sequence of excavation at Noh which is the site that has been excavated in the district so far. With many illustrations of the heritage of the district along with a district map and a chart of the Jat rulers of the district, it discusses the excavation findings. It also provides a list of the protected monuments in the district and sites discovered along with a description of their features.
