This is the sixth volume of Current Studies on the Indus Civilization. The book contains three papers. In the first paper, Jonathan Mark Kenoyer, one of the most eminent scholars specializing in Harappan archaeology, writes on the terracotta model carts and wheeled vehicles of the Indus civilization. This is followed by a paper by P. Eltsov, which investigates the history of an ancient South Asian city through the analysis of ancient texts and archaeological data. The last paer written by Vivek Dangi is a preliminary report on his archaeological explorations in the Chautang basin of Haryana. (jacket)
