Andrew Liddle is an Ex Indian Police Service Officer from the Madhya Pradesh cadre, who retired as the Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force, Govt. of India. He has been collecting Mughal coins for over a decade with a special focus on Akbar. He has been the founder president of the Delhi Coin Society. Many of his real life detective stories have been published in the Indian police Journal and several magazines including the Femina. The present book is his first attempt in the field of numismatics, naturally he has applied the same investigative approach to the subject. His other interests include fossils gardening and reading.
