"This book is an attempt to present the personal experiences of a teacher and children's writer against the backdrop of regional and national scenario. It is unique in nature for the fact that an autobiography meant for children, giving the picture of one's childhood as a rural boy struggling through a lot of trials and tribulations in their own simple language and lucid style. Through various hurdles and adversities this man had his education not only in this country, but also abroad.
As a pioneer in the field of Educational Technology, as a teacher and innovator he has gained rich experiences. As an organiser and office bearer of various national and regional literary and educational organisations, he has made a mark. He has guided as many as 40 Ph.D. and D.Litt. research scholars under various universities.
This book gives a lucid description of a long quest for quality education and literature. Although it was published originally in Oriya, the writers were inspired to give an English version of the book "Mo Jivan Katha" (My-Life Story) by the memorial book "Wings of Fire" by H.E.
