"This handy book is an outstanding work on ancient numismatics covering period between 700 BC and 300 BC. The book is devided into two parts and 21 Chapters. In the first part up to BC period is covered and in the second part between 480 to 300 BC period. There are Eleven plates of coins which are arranged to give a general view of the coins of the districts and periods. In order to supplement the plates the author has added references to the plates of British Museum Guide to Greek and Roman Coins.

By all means this book is altogether different than other books as the author has discussed the coins of all the ancient countries chapter wise and in detail."
