"The overall objective of this study is to quantify the contribution of different factors to the success or failure of a Micro Hydro Unit, to determine how the decentralised Micro Hydro System in Ladakh is playing a role for enhancing the rural livelihood of the people and how to make this system financially sustainable. Also, the objective would cover the understanding of the existing approach being followed by LEDeG and what amendments should be made to the same. This study also aims to critically analyze the existing institutional framework for managing Micro Hydro Units in the villages."
