This book Fauna of India: Acanthocephala by the present author is an attempt to put together all the information available in literature of Acanthocephala. Out of 1250 species known from all over the world, this work deals with 348 species of these parasites occurring in the Indian subcontinent. These 348 species belonging to 65 genera, 18 families, 8 orders, 3 classes of which description and figures are provided for 339 species. The present volume will certainly help the future workers in this field. (jacket)
