A Fern Flora of the West Himalaya, Vol 7: The Fern Allies

The present Flora is the result of our long, painstaking excursions to various parts of the West Himalaya over many years and in a way marks the culmination of this difficult but utterly necessary task. The fern-allies of the West Himalaya have not been sufficiently studied and documented in detail with descriptions, distribution data, localities, keys and photographs. A Fern Flora of the West Himalaya Volume 7 deals with fern-allies and completes the account of Pteridophytes of the West Himalaya. A detailed pictorial taxonomic account of the fern-allies of the West Himalaya is presented in this volume. 

This is a landmark work prepared after a long painstaking work based on actual specimens collected by the three of us. It is not based on secondary information collected from earlier publications. Nothing of this kind has so far been done. Profuse illustrations in the form of coloured photographs are provided. It is our Endeavour that this book will greatly help people in identifying their material.
