From the preface: Many outstanding advances in modern biology have been mode as a result of application of efficient methods. It is difficult to comprehend the latest developments in fast growing research fields in Agriculture without the understanding of the basic tools and techniques of the physiology and Biochemistry as they are the basic fast developing sciences useful for modern biology. Teaching plant physiology for more than two decades to students makes me to write this beginner’s volume on “Advanced methods in plant physiology and Biochemistry’ to share my acquaintance with the  subject, nurtured over all these years with those embanking on the exciting experience of learning the practical aspects of plant physiology and bio-chemistry.
