During the past four decades most parts of the world have experienced emergence of entrepreneurship development as a means of rapid economic development leading to creation of gainful employment for the masses. The myth that entrepreneurs are born and not created seems to be slowly fading away.

Most of the college teachers and entrepreneur trainers have specialization in one particular area and they find it difficult to impart the entire gamut of entrepreneurship development inputs. Entrepreneurship curriculum and entrepreneurship development programmes are time bound and it is difficult for teachers/trainers to lay hand on good books in relevant disciplines and extract required instructional material for the students of entrepreneurship and potential entrepreneurs within the limited time span. The job of the entrepreneurship teachers/trainers becomes all the more difficult when entrepreneurship related inputs are required to be taught at an interior location where library facilities many not be adequate.

Recognizing the need for appropriate instructional material for students of entrepreneurship potential entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship teacher and trainers we conceived the idea of writing this book. The text in the book is more practical in nature and supplement with academic inputs. The book deals with important inputs pertaining to entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial development.
