"The book presents the complete life sketch of Acharya Vinobha Bhave, a true Gandhian who dedicated his entire life for the upliftment of poor, downtrodden and landless people of our country. The book covers in brief the theories of Bhoodan Movement started by him in the year 1951. The main thesis behind Vinobha\'s Bhoodan and Gramdan concepts was to bring about a change in the economic and political set-up of the country and establish a new social order through peaceful means. Vinobaji visited all the parts of country through padyatra to spread the message of love, compassion and sympathy, got donations of land and distributed them amongst the poor and downtrodden.

The book explains the Swaraj Ideology, Gram Swaraj, Agrarian economy and comments on democracy in separate chapters.
