Civil Disobedience Movements in India

My grandfather in this book reports from the time when India was still under the rule of British Imperialists. History seems to repeat itself I even imagine it now to be cyclical. My question to the reader: now that revolution has faded from history is evolution the new trajectory of India and its precarious relationship to the West?
