Digressing Domains

From the text: "The exhibition is an attempt to peep into the mindscape of individuals and their creative concerns. The 48 artists from across the country, some senior others younger, represent not only diverse geographic domains within the country but also digressing mindscape and sensibilities. The grouping itself that includes some surprises and not just the predictable few is a digression not only from a more established pattern but includes artists who make a paradigm shift to digress from their usual creative pattern and tread new arenas. The show is inclusive of a wide range of materials and techniques to present us with an amazingly diverse collage of about 150 new works that walk beyond the fixed route to capture realities of life, as they exist or are wished for. Breaking free of any pre-determined and rigid patterns, the artists attempt to articulate the plurality of expressions under the shifting paradigms and contexts in today's world of branded goods, new media, economy and politics."
