Dimensions of Globalisation Led Industrialisation

This book is a compendium of nineteen scholarly papers describing various issues related with globalization. Globalization by means of liberalizing Foreign Direct Investment and encouraging privatisation broadens the pace of Industrialization of the country. But the positive link between globalization and industrialization is not so smooth across the states and regions. Sometimes Rapid Industrialization is not accepted on the grounds of environmental degradation and improper Rehabilitation and Resettlement Policy. A number of articles presented in this book highlight the sorry state of affairs related with the globalization led industrialization programme. Rightly speaking, large scale industrialization doesn\'t typify a symbolic economic progress of a region rather a systematic attempt discouraging and hindering sustainable development of mankind of a particular region.
