In February 2022, Rajiv Gandhi University (Central), Arunachal Pradesh organized one national seminar entitled ‘Plant Taxonomy and Traditional Knowledge in the Himalayas and North-East India’ along with the annual conference of ‘East Himalayan Society for Spermatophyte Taxonomy’ (EHSST). The present volume, ‘Diversity of Plants and Microbes: Conservation and Traditional Uses’, represents the proceedings of this seminar and has accommodated 31 articles that are placed under six sections, namely (i) Vascular Plants Diversity, (ii) Microbial & Non-vascular Plants Diversity, (iii) Medicinal Plants, (iv) Traditional Knowledge, (v) Agroforestry, and (vi) Phytochemistry.
