The aim of politics and practice in economic geography is to bring to the surface methodological issues that for too long have been buried. We have no expectative of consensus, but believe that conversation itself is important and especially critical given the current variegated and pluralized form of economic geography. While there are reasons to celebrate this vibrant heterodoxy the far flung and varied character of the field means that it is al the more important to sustain indeed deepen, intra-disciplinary discussions.
