"The book "Essays on International Money" has endeavoured to explore the analytical framework of genesis of international money. The essence of international liquidity problem, which is closely linked with international monetary system, trade and finance, is the focal theme of this book. It also highlights the breakdown of the socialist CMEA bloc, collapse of the Bretton Woods, emerging capitalists’ regional blocs along with third Bretton Woods (W.T.O.) which produced instability in the world monetary system with anchorless world money.
"This book will be helpful to graduate and post-graduate students and research scholars. It will also guide the policy-makers in case of decision-making in monetary economics." (jacket)
