This is a personal narrative of several of the most important events of war in India written by Julius George Medley. It describes siege and capture of Delhi, Colonel Seaton\'s campaign in the Doab and also his accounts of the capture of Lucknow by Medally was an officer of Bengal engineers actually engaged in the campaign during 1857 mutiny in India.
