From the Foreword: "The introductory chapters are quite informative and will serve as a first hand information. The systematic treatment deals with a total number of 1109 of wild plants from the National Park. The dichotomous keys are provided to differentiate families, genera, species and infraspecific taxa as an aid to identification. Citation of the plant is followed by a short description, phenology, illustrations if any and its distribution. The local names of the plants if available and uses if any are also given. Alphabetical order is followed for easy reference. The flora has been accentuated with many colour photographs, line drawings of the plants and maps."
