Guardians of Indian Skies: Aviation Photography

A pictorial book with 500 images on the historic and current fleet of the Indian Air Force. The introduction showcases the rich history of the IAF from its birth in 1933 on the Wapiti Biplane, to Operations in NWFP, 1948 Ops, 1962 Indo-Pak War, 1971 Indo-Pak War followed by the 1999 Kargil Ops and the latest Balakot airstrike. The book is divided into the aircraft sections of: Fighters, Helicopters, Transport and Trainers followed by Air Defence, Maintenance, Aerobatics and Heritage Flight. It is profusely illustrated with images shot over a period of two years at numerous air bases across India. Shooting started at sunrise and went beyond sunset, many stunning images are published for the first time in a book.
