Human Resource Development and Higher Education: Quality and Management

The Indian Economy, during the era of globalization, has been undergoing rapid changes in various issues particularly human resource generation and its relation with the development of higher education. The book “Human Resource Development and Higher Education: Quality and Management” is based on such issues. A large number of delegates participated in the seminars and presented their papers. Out of those papers as good as 20 papers have been finally selected for the book. Thematically, these papers are arranged into 2 sections: I. Human Resource Development Issues and II. Higher Education-Quality and Management Issues.

Therefore, an analysis of the quality and management of these resources as well as an evaluation of the higher education system of the country that has been operational over the last two decades would help us to realize our challenges and opportunities ahead.
