Hyenas in the Town

Hyenas in Town, an anthology of Dr Vikram Singh is an effort to highlight the imminent danger to life liberty and property emerged out of growing unsocial behaviour of men against the Aristotlian belief man is a social animal.

The growing sense of  insecurity has made everyone conscious of personal security which has adversely affected the trust of man. The decline of mutual trust gave opportunity to the antisocial ones to overtake the social ones.

Increasing watchmen  and security gates of the colonies are not able to control the anti social animals. The causes of the threat to the common security can not be found in the lapses of the Police.

The socio economic inequality may be treated as one of the reasons but other reasons are also to be searched out in our lapses in bringing up of the children.

The poems included in the anthology directly converse with the people give opportunity to everyone to find his/her own voice that has made everyone to comprehend with the new streams of poetry especially the literateurs critics readers and students.
