Immortals of Letters...also offers the century's first noble laureate V S Naipual, who was selected for the Honorary Fellow, which is reserved for foreign personalities who have contributed to the enrichment of Indian Literature. Though a British citizen, his writings, his development as well,his core work all are rooted in India. From this perspective the book significantly serves to reestablish the legacy of eminent writers, and is indeed a rich one and ought to be referred more than once by those who are engaged in Indian Bhasa.
