India\'s Inclusive Growth : In the Age of Globalization
The volume has grown out of a group discussions held under the banner of the \'Global Centre for Development Studies\'. Part-I of the volume presents the theoretical models and the characterization of our present economic growth. The nature of inflation and instability was assessed minutely. Employment aspect of the economy, and the empowerment of left out social groups and women are discussed in the Part-II. Finance, is an important tool of development. Micro-credit and financial inclusion is examined in the Part-Ill. Decentralized planning and the Gandhian Path of Village Welfare are treated in the Part IV. The volume thus find out the ills of the system and explores the possible way out of the agony of the present growth process.
