The author in this book has tried, with diffidence, modesty and humility, to analyze the open or veiled game plans that not only throw a new light on certain aspects of the Jammu-Kashmir issue, but also unfold the contrived plans of those who have made a no-problem Jammu-Kashmir a problem Jammu-Kashmir. It has become a new challenge in the context of an internal as well as external security problem.
This book contains the analysis of the constitution of J&K, which is a byproduct of article 370. It examines in depth that a separate constitution of J&K is the genesis of crisis. It deals with two significant questions: Why a special constitutional treatment to only one Federal Unit of the Indian Federation that is Union of States. Why a separate Constitution of J&K within the federal structure of the Constitution of India when all the states of Union of India work within the constitutional scheme of India? This book shows the games of those interested replacing simple Kashmir into Kashmir imbroglio. It also narrates the saga of events, which have not only embittered Indo-Pakistan relations, but also converted communal harmony into communal disharmony.
