The present monograph entitled “Jharkhand-Cultural and Archaeological Perspectives” Authored by Dr. Kamal Shankar Srivastava, an attempt has been made to trace and to explain the cultural and archaeological aspects of Jharkhand especially related to Chotanagpur and Santal Pargana regions of Jharkhand and also to focus and to enlighten the cultural, archaeological perspectives of the Jharkhand in simple details and lucid manner.

Though the Jharkhand is the new state creation from Bihar in year 2000 A.D. After becoming a new state as a South Bihar region consisting of Palamu, Chatanagpur, Santal Pargana and Kolhan. It creates the independent study in Archaeological field. The present work throws the light to the Jharkhand as per cultural and archaeological perspective in an innovative manner. (jacket)
