From the Preface: "International Relations has undergone a traumatic phase with the end of Cold War at the beginning of 1990s. There has been a lot of rethinking on the new directions of International Relations in the Post Cold War Period and the churning process continues till date.
The present book on "New Perspectives in International Relations" is a fresh attempt to introduce the old and new developments, paradigms and concepts of international politics to the students of political science. Students may surely benefit from their exposure to this new interpretation on contemporary international relations."
