Paintings and Sculpters of India : 21st Century

Indian art has gradually gained recognition over the age. With increasing interest in contemporary painters we have come far from the earlier influences and now newer trends have added their richness even as some traditions have asserted themselves.

Considering the new awareness and value generation, Sparrow Publication has dedicated to publish a visual directory of contemporary Indian Painters and Sculptors.

The first one under publication is scheduled to be ready tentatively on Bengali New Year 2001 entitled PAINTINGS AND SCULPTERS OF INDIA 21st Century.

This volume will be profusely illustrated on Art Paper and cover most of the established as well as rising artists and sculptors of Bengal which has an excellent tradition but need to be updated with the new generation of artist in the 21st Century.
