The present higher education scenario presents inequality in regard to general and professional education. Most of the institutions and universities of India are imparting general education and very few are attached with professional education. The quantitative development in terms of institutions and enrolment, in almost half of China and in fact lower in comparison with some developing countries. The chapters support privatisation of higher education and very few are in favour of women education, inclusive education and global education system. Over all, the papers are mixed in character but yet they are centred around on the privatization and professionalization of higher education which have been kept in one jargon to judge the problem.
