Supplement to the Flowering Plants of Uttarakhand

The book enumerates 817 taxa of flowering plants published in different journals, vegetational accounts, floras, revisionary works etc. after the publication of "Flowering Plants of Uttarakhand" A checklist" in 2007. Families Bromeliaceae, Cephalotaxaceae, Frankeniaceae, Pyrolaceae and Sparganiaceae are additions at the family level. Maximum number of taxa have been added to the family Asteraceae (130) followed by Poaceae (107) and Orchidaceae (43). The genera Corydalis (18), Taraxacum (16), Berberis, Galium (13 each), Astragalus (12), Saxifraga and Saussurea (10 each) contribute maximum at the specific and infraspecific level.Contents: Foreword: Acknowledgement: Introduction: Dicotyledons: Monocotyledons: Bibliography.
