Taittiriya-Aranyakam of Krishna Yajurvediyam: With Commentary by Sayana (2 Vols-Set)

In the Brahmanas or as appendices to them we find texts which were known as Aranyakas or "forest-texts'. In the Black Yajureved, the Taittiriya Aranyaka is a continuation of the Brahmana of the same name. Being the largest of its class, it consists of ten chapters or books VII to IX constituting the Taittiriya Upanisad and X the Mahanarayana Upanishad, which is a late addition. This edition contains the Devanagari text of the Taittiriya Aranyaka along with a Parisista or appendix to the tenth book of the Taittiriya Aranyaka. The contents are also given in an elaborate manner. All this is accompanied with commentary of Sayana.
