"The first chapter deals with the importance of mathematics in daily life, different definitions and interpretation of the term mathematics. In the second chapter , the author discusses objectives of teaching mathematics at different levels i.e., primary and secondary levels. The third chapter deals with the main aim of teaching of mathematics and how can we achieve this aim? The fourth chapter refers to the concept of teaching aids; their need and different principles for using them. The fifth chapter deals with different types of teaching aids. The sixth chapter provides the use of real objects as a teaching aid with examples. In the seventh chapter, the author discusses 39 models, which can be used in teaching different concepts of mathematics. Eighth chapter deals with the importance of using charts in teaching of mathematics by giving examples. Ninth chapter deals with the use of paper as an important teaching aid in mathematics teaching with examples. Besides the teaching aids, the tenth chapter has been discussed in detail by giving examples of lessons which can be taught with the help of computers.
