The Chittagong Hill Tracts is a very pioneer exclusive essential research and study works of the author Syed Abu Royhan on multidimensional issues of Chittagong Hill Tracts. The author of the book included here issues like Peoples and Geographical Features, Conspicuous Places and administrative History, Circles and Rajas, Administrative Justice and Land Management, Matters Related to Refugees and PCJSS, World Reaction on the Chittagong Hill Tracts pact and International Awards Won by Sheikh Hasina, Chronological Events of the Chittagong Hill Tracts and some other related important issues.

With the signing of the Chittagong Hill Tracts Pact between the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and the Chittagong Hill Tracts Jana Sanghati Samity on the 2nd December 1997, there was great eagerness about the contents of the pact across the world. At that time I worked and published an article as well as a numbers of research oriented books and treaties being written on various aspects of Chittagong Hill Tracts.

The author Syed Abu Royhan strongly felt the need of a compiled study and accordingly he worked for more than 15 years or more investing his intellectual efforts for effective writting of the compiled informative study and research based essential book ‘The Chittagong Hill Tracts’.
