A large number of festivals are observed in Nepal, so much so that every other month there is a festival or two dedicated to particular Gods, Goddesses and deities. In that respect, one could say that in Nepal there is a festive mood round the year. These festivals are celebrated as per the Nepali calendar months and Tithi (auspicious time). The major festivals in the country fall after the Nepali month of Bhadra. This book offers a glimpse into various festivals, both major and minor to the readers, and different myths and folklores associated with them.
