Born on first January, 1951 in a Village in western U.P. (India) in a middle level farmer’s family. His father late Sh Laxman Singh was a devotee and follower of Radhaswami Satsang (Beas) at Amritsar and Delhi. Religious talks at home influenced the author since childhood. It was ardent desire of the father to see his son educated to highest level in and around his village, which the author could fulfill. He is B. Tech. (Ag. Engg.), M. Tech. (Ag. Engg.) – and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering. An all India Agricultural Research Service Scientist by profession is presently working as National Director of National Agricultural Innovation Project founded by the World Bank and Government of India. During last about 36 years he served in several research management positions like Director of a National Institute, Project Coordinator of an all India Coordinated Research Project, Head of Division at another institute. Besides these he served in all scientific positions like Scientist, Senior Scientist, and Principal Scientist. He has varied experience with believes in the Geeta philosophy of action, likes Swadeshi and wishes Indians to understand the deeper values of the Hindu Concepts which are not a ready passport to heaven but a text for preparing an average human being to reach heavenly heights in life.
