The relevant volumes have been weaved into three volumes having thrust on various phases of pathway to Swaraj. Volume one deals with nine chapters and a glossary. They have thrust upon the Nehru Report, Tej Bhadur Sapru, K.N. Katju and the Nehru Report.
The volume II has been able to weave events into nine chapters. Role of eminent Muslims such as Ajmal Khan, M.A. Ansari, Zakir Husain, Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, Rafi Ahmad Kidwai etc. in the freedom struggle has been analysed. Volume 3rd deals with eminent women activists and their role in nation building.

The relevant material has been collected from several centres of research institutions, viz. Delhi University Libary, Sapru house library, ICHR Library, Nehru Memorial Museum and Library, Sahitya Akademic Library and other centres of research. I feel beholden to the members of these institutions for their academic support to me from time to time. I have used the relevant contents of various articles by eminent authors.
