Topical Problems In Solid Mechanics

Topical problems in solid mechanics contains the papers, which were presented in the Indo-Russian workshop held on 11-14 November 2008 at the BIT Pilani, Goa Campus. This workshop was sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology, Delhi, and the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, Moscow. The papers presented in this workshop deal with topics which include damage and fracture mechanics, nano- and micromechanics, contact mechanics, dynamics, elasto-viscoplasticity, mechanics of accreted solids, biomechanics, mechanics of com-posites,and thermo-mechanics.
